Phoenix Brickwork and BMH Scaffolding were appointed by Bowmer + Kirkland to deliver the brickwork and scaffolding packages for the redevelopment of the company’s Head Office at High Edge Court in Heage.

 

Phoenix’s brickwork package included the construction of the basement blockwork using 100mm blocks, alongside the external brickwork and associated masonry works. Following completion of the brickwork, Brick Care was also involved in cleaning the finished brickwork, helping achieve a clean, high-quality finish.

 

Alongside the masonry works, BMH Scaffolding provided the scaffolding package, supporting Phoenix’s brickwork operations and providing access throughout the build. The close coordination between the two Phoenix Group teams helped ensure the works progressed efficiently and safely.

 

A key milestone was reached in July 2026 when the final brick of Phase 1 was laid, with Bowmer + Kirkland Chairman Jack Kirkland joining the project team on site to mark the occasion.

 

The project represents a significant scheme for Phoenix, bringing together brickwork, blockwork and BMH scaffolding as part of the transformation of Bowmer + Kirkland’s long-standing Head Office.
